The End: Moving on from Miniature Giant Haiku Musings…
Nothing lasts forever and life is about moving and change. I decided that once I’d written 575 haiku verses (‘cause 575 is the auspicious haiku number) I’d call time on the Miniature Giant Haiku Musings of James Clayton blog and let it rest. Having done hit the 575 posts mark, that’s it. The End.
It’s been fun and challenging posting up these things every day and it’s nice to know that some readers have enjoyed them. I hope they’ve meant something to people and made them think and feel. Some of them are deep and personal and some are just off-the-cuff silliness. Some I’ve agonised hours over whereas some were easy and instant. Regardless, looking back at the mass of little poetry pieces I feel a sense of achievement and it’s been a pleasure sharing them on the wider internet, putting words out there just for the sake of expressing myself and keeping my mind intellectually and creatively challenged.
Maybe one day I’ll get them together as a print collection. In the meantime, life goes on new projects and adventures are waiting to be had. You’ll be able to find them all here if you wish to follow me…
Thanks for reading and take care of yourselves and the Universe. James :)
